Sytchampton Endowed Primary School

Event - Jubilee Tea Party

1 June 2012

On the 1st of June we celebrated the Queen's Jubilee with a tea party with Parents and Visitors.

We all made bunting for the playground, printed our own table cloths with Union Jacks and Reception children tie dyed and sold t-shirts for the event, raising money for 'Help the Heroes'. Everyone wore red, white and blue and decorated cakes to be sold. The Year 4 children prepared and sold refreshments and we all sang the National Anthem.

We were all given a special 'Jubilee Mug' by Dr Gait our Chair of Governors to remember the special event.

We all dressed in red, white and blue.
A riot of patriotic colours.

Lots of visitors joined us for our celebration.
Year 4 served refreshments.

The decorated cakes were delicious.
Dr Gait gave us each a mug.

Our tie dyed T shirts were very colourful.
