Event - A Visit from Samuel Pepys

13 February 2014

Ospreys have been learning about the Great Fire of London and on 13th February they had a visit from Samuel Pepys!

He talked about his diary and the events. He also shared some interesting artefacts with the class. They made paper boats, looked at old maps and wrote with quill pens in a secret code. He also showed them a fire tornado and did some experiments with fire in the hall.

It really brought the pupil's learning to life.

We made paper boats.

More paper boats.
