Pupil premium is additional funding provided to schools for supporting more disadvantaged pupils to ensure they benefit from the same opportunities as all other children. There are three categories of children that qualify for pupil premium:
- Children who are eligible for free school meals (FSM).
- Looked after children.
- Armed forces children.
From Sept 2021, any COVID Recovery Funding will also be included in the new Pupil Premium Statement as directed by the government.
The school has a very small proportion of children who are eligible for pupil premium (9%). Please see our Pupil Premium Statement below for how we intend to spend our funding.
